Recording artist, producer and film music composer Munk Duane has a style deeply rooted in late 60s and early 70s Soul and Pop, crafting a sonic atmosphere that is traditional in inception and modern in execution. Channeling spirits of the past and filtering them through a 21st century aesthetic, Munk manifests an evolution by daring to experiment in hybrids.

 

Munk was up for GRAMMY® Consideration last year for BEST POP SOLO PERFORMANCE for his song "Myths".  This year, he is once again up For Your Grammy® Consideration for SONG OF THE YEAR for "We've Talked About This Before" in the 67th Annual Grammy® Awards.

"We've Talked About This Before" was written, recorded and performed by Munk Duane and recorded at Bad Stella Studios, in Whitman MA. The song was mastered by Grammy® winner Brian Lucey at Magic Garden Mastering, LA. The song was released on March 1, 2024.

Munk Duane hasalso won two New England Music Awards (2018 PERFORMER OF THE YEAR, 2019 VIDEO OF THE YEAR "Another Day Another Bullet"). He us currently nominated for PERFORMER OF THE YEAR in the 2024 New England Music Awards
