Munk Duane has composed and performed the original score for the animated short "Book!" by Chris Georgenes. The music pays homage to the history of animation with nods to composers Vince Guaraldi (Charlie Brown) and Carl Stalling (classic Warner Brothers), among others.
Georgenes says, "The concept for this animated short started back in 2009 with the audio recording of my daughter who was only 6 years old at the time. The audio files sat in a folder on a hard drive in a desk drawer for the next 13 years before it was rediscovered in 2022. I promised myself I would finally finish what I started."
